I found a street cat in a bicycle basket on my way to market.

I made a pair of doll pants from my old pajama. This is my daughter's Shellie May from Tokyo Disney Sea.

I love Laksa!

我 喜欢 叻沙！

"Laksa" is a spicy noodle dish that is popular in Malaysia and Singapore.

A hawker store "Hua Fong Kee Roasted Duck [华]芳记烧腊饭" sells yummy laksa. I got a bowl of laksa and duck rice today.

Finally here!!
We stayed at Marina Bay Sands Hotel for our 10th wedding anniversary.

Infinity Pool on the roof of SkyPark spans over three towers of Marina Bay Sands Hotel.

It is the largest(150m-long) and highest(200m above street level, 57th floor) outdoor pool in the world.

Spectacular city view from our suite room located on the highest(54th) floor of the hotel.

We could see the Merlion -symbol of Singapore- across the bay. 

The Gardens By The Bay and the ocean with many container ships on the other side. 

An anniversary cake and champagne from the hotel.

This teddy bear is also a gift from the hotel for my daughter. 

Awesome view during the sunset.

Wonder Full - light and water and sound show - is a 13-minute show which projects video onto giant water screens made out of tiny droplets sprayed into they air.

I had a lunch with my friends at "Makan@Jen". It is located on the 10th floor of Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore. It offers Semi-Buffet Lunch. We enjoyed one main course with appetizer and dessert buffet for just S$29.30.(But the price went up by S$5 from the last time I've been there.) 

We have enjoyed chit-chat for 3 hours. Happily, my handful girl was napping all the time! What a good girl!!

It was a brief indulgence, but I ate too much sweets...I didn't need dinner.

I went through the shopping stalls on "Bugis street". There are over 800 shops across 3 levels. We can find lots of souvenirs, clothing, other fashion items, food and more. They are cheap. But I wasn't all that impressed. It was stuffed with people and most of the clothing wasn't my style.

After all, I bought just SG50 t-shirts(3 for S$10) for my three kids.

Finally I tried "Roti Prata"!! 

"Roti Prata" is a round pancake, often eaten with mutton or fish curry. It is sold mostly by Indian Muslims at coffeeshops and hawker centres, and it is most often eaten for breakfast.

The Roti Prata belongs to a group of breads which are indigenous to India. They are brought to Singapore by Indian immigrants.

Luckily, there is one of the most famous stalls near my house. "Rahmath Cheese Prata" at Toa Payoh Vista Food Ctr is listed in "Makansutra" book.

I took away one plain(S$0.9) and cheese prata(S$2.0), they came with a bowl of curry, the total cost was only S$2.9! They were very very tasty!!! They tasted like naan or pizza, and the curry was also super yummy!!

I will come back and get them again soon:)

I rode a bicycle to Bishan public library, it was very nice weather today. It took about 10-15 minutes, I enjoyed the local scenery. I really love this town!

I finally ordered Mother's day gifts online. Unfortunately the Japanese sweets set that I wanted was sold out, but I found another good one, "flowering tea(10 types) with a glass tea-pot and moon cakes(2 flavors)". I hope my mom and my husband's mom will like it!

I sent two letters to Japan, they are for Mother's Day on this coming Sunday. I drew a carnation and message on it, and enclosed it with my kids' drawings "rabbit" and messages. With Thanks...

We visited a national monument "Former Tanjong Pagar Railway Station". It is opened to public only  public holiday. (Today is labour day in Singapore.)
