I rode a bicycle around my place with my little daughter. At first we headed for "Toa Payoh Dragon Playground". It is one of Singapore's oldest playgrounds, and it was chosen as "One Of 15 Amazing Playgrounds From All Over The World" by New York culture blog. I found that four HDB blocks surrounding it were demolished and the scenery had changed.

After that we ate "chendol" at Dove Desserts located in Lorong 7. It melted away quickly due to hot weather, and it was too sweet for me!

This morning, while my 3 kids were at school, I had a chat with my friend at Bishan. She will move to Switzerland in a few months. We enjoyed talking for one hour at McD and headed for Lorong1 Market. We bought some baos(包) at Teochew Handmade Pau and one container of beancurd(豆花) at my favorite stall. I enjoyed some downtime:)

In the morning, I took my little daughter to her playgroup as usual, and today I asked her teacher, "Doesn't she talk at school?" She replied "No, she doesn't talk anything, but she is a very good observer. She can point out a day of the week, it is amazing, other kids cannot do that." I realized that she is same as my older 2 kids, very quiet but observing.

In the afternoon, my little daughter felt asleep, so I put her on the stroller and went out to Mustafa Centre. I got some gifts for my friends and parents.  I also got some Singapore souvenirs for me! A 20cm Merlion statue and a Batik tapestry and so on…  Anyway I love SG soooooo much!!!

My family and I had lunch at Japanese restaurant "Chikuyotei" in the intercontinental hotel at Bugis. Chikuyotei is known for their "Unagi", where fresh Japanese eel is imported from Japan and grilled on premise. All ingredients are fresh and the taste is real Japanese. It cost S$268 for 4 lunch sets today, little bit expensive, but worth it. We enjoyed our meal very much.

After lunch, we headed for Bugis Street for the first time. I got very excited at lots of cheap shops of souvenirs and clothes and toys etc... I bought a cute denim bag!

In the evening, I enjoyed sewing with my eldest daughter. We made a bag for her teddy bear "Ribbon". She chose cotton cloth and an Hello Kitty applique for decorating. The applique was on her baby dress 10 years ago! She sewed very well by herself. Well done!
